During WSR7 two injection sessions took place

Session#1

CB    injections: from GPS 852683756 for 3500s
Lines injections: from GPS 852687256 for 100s
Burst injections: from GPS 852687665 for 2700s

Session#2

CB    injections: from GPS 852849240 for 3500s
Lines injections: from GPS 852852740 for 100s
Burst injections: from GPS 852853596 for 2700s

Several kind of events were injected: the title in bold refers to their label in the FrSimEvent structures

1. HI_CB: BNS events, m1=1.39, m2=1.47
   nuLow=50Hz, optimal orientation
   Nominal Distances(Mpc): 3.28   2.19
   Nominal SNR:                     8     12
2. HI_Burst_DFM: DFM events, a=2 b=4 g=1,
   Nominal Distances(Kpc): 0.71       0.35      0.21
   Nominal SNR values:        7.5       15.0      25.0
3. HI_Burst_Gaussian: Gaussian events, sigma=1ms
   Nominal SNR values:        7.5       15.0      25.0
4. HI_Burst_SineGaussian: Cosine-Gaussian events
   Nominal SNR values:        7.5       15.0      25.0
• f0=1000, 1300, 1600
• Q=5, 15    (6 types)

For all the Burst events (DFM, Gaussian and Cosine Gaussian) the three SNR values were used in three (900s) portions of the injection session.

For the BNS events, two portions of 1800 and 1700 s were reserved respectively for injections at SNR=8 and 12.

The SNR values were computed using the official WSR7 sensitivity.

In addition to hardware injections, lines were injected during 100s at the end of each series of BNS injections.
For both instances two lines were injected

• Line1: Amplitude=4e-6V, Frequency=102Hz
• Line2: Amplitude=8e-6V, Frequency=352Hz

and are marked as HI_Line events in the data.

Trick(1): to obtain a list of event times, for instance of the type HI_Burst_..., type a command like
 FrDump -d 3 -event -i V-WSR7-Injections-13-Jan-2007-852683756-10000.gwf | grep SimEvent:HI_Burst | awk '{ print $3;}' | sed "s/time=//g"

The frame files were produced using the vega script parseHrec.C, run on the hrec-v1 data.
