Some plots showing various AdVirgo sensitivities, as SRM transmission and detune phase are varied. The readout quadrature (homodyne) is fixed at pi/2.
This plot shows the NSNS and BHBH range as the SRM Transmission and SRC detuning phase are varied. The readout quadrature is fixed at pi/2. The conclusion is that, for NSNS optimization, the choice of SRM transmissivity hardly even matters, as long as the detune phase is around 0.35 radians. We choose a SRM Transmission of 0.2.
The BHBH range is better optimized by reducing the input power, as shown in this second plot.
