Fast Quadrant Centering System (a. k. a. Galvo System)

This system allows to rapidly steer the laser beam acting on a couple of small mirrors using (mirror) galvanometers. The electronics documented here is the driving part of the system (Galvo Driver)


Translation Stages Controller

The old way to center the beam on any given QPD used in the Alignment system was to actually move the sensors in the x-y plane orthogonal to the beam using two translation stages.
Each couple of actuators is controlled through a semi-custom electronic chassis, made assembling commercial modules (mostly Physik Instrumente) and a single custom one.

Local Control Electronics

Local Control System uses PSD sensors to read the position of the mirrors
